Stars is a Canadian indie pop and rock band from Montreal, formed in 2000 by Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan. Their songs use lush synth-and-guitar arrangements and dual lead vocals, often in intimate, narrative lyrics. "Set Yourself on Fire" (2004) and "The Five Ghosts" (2010) were Polaris Music Prize nominees. Live bills often overlap with Broken Social Scene and Metric, reflecting their Arts & Crafts scene ties.
