Who we are

ConcertOwl (concertowl.com) is operated by Lyrtech AB, Gibraltargatan 46, 412 58 Gothenburg, Sweden. Questions about this policy go to contact@concertowl.com.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit, technically necessary server logs come up: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referrer, and your browser identifier. We use these only to keep the site secure and stable. Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

No accounts, no registration

The site offers no user accounts, and no profiles are created.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for analytics or marketing, and we embed no third-party tracking services. The only thing stored on your device is your theme choice (light or dark) plus your click-to-load choices for optional embeds, kept in your browser's local storage. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics (our own, cookieless)

To understand which pages get visited, we run our own traffic measurement. It works without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Your browser tells our own server which pages you view, which page referred you, and which outbound links you click. From your IP address and browser identifier our server computes a checksum using a secret key that is regenerated daily and never kept. The IP address itself is not stored. After a day passes, the checksum can no longer be connected to your device, not even by us, so recognizing a visitor across multiple days is impossible. The data never leaves our server and is not shared with any third party.

Search

Search queries are processed by our own server. Your browser makes no direct connection to a third party when you search.

Third-party images

Event and artist images come from the systems of the respective ticket sellers and organizers, and some load directly from their servers, including Ticketmaster and Spotify's image service. When such an image loads, your browser necessarily sends your IP address and browser identifier to that provider. We have no influence on their further processing.

Click-to-load embeds (Spotify, Google Maps, Stay22)

Artist pages can embed the official Spotify player, venue and concert pages a Google Maps view, and concert and festival pages a Stay22 accommodation map. None of these load automatically. You first see a button served from our own server, and until you click it, no connection to the third party exists. When you click, your browser connects to the provider and sends your IP address, browser identifier, and the page you are on. The provider may set its own cookies and, if you are logged in there, connect the visit to your account. If you never click, nothing is transmitted. Their privacy policies apply: Spotify, Google, Stay22.

Affiliate links

Links to ticket and hotel providers can be partner links. If you click such a link, the provider receives technically necessary data, including your IP address and an identifier that lets a purchase be credited to us. The connection only comes up through your click; nothing is transmitted without it. See the About page for our full affiliate disclosure.

Data retention

Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest. Beyond that, we store no personal data about visitors.

Your choices and rights

You can browse the whole site without any embed ever loading, and you can clear the site's local storage at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we store none about you beyond short-lived server logs, there is usually nothing to request, but you can always reach us at contact@concertowl.com.
