Thesaurus Rex is a Brooklyn indie rock band active since 2021, led by singer-guitarist Calvin Rezen with Varun Jhunjhunwalla, Dan MacDonald and Jordan Kerr. Bandcamp calls them a conceptual project whose songs swing between playful humor and straight-ahead rock. They released the debut album Greatest Hits on November 4, 2025. Their official site pitches concerts as spirited live rock built around Rezen's songwriting.
