Omei

Omei is the dark ambient project of U.S. artist Chris Goudreau, who also records cut-up electronics as SICKNESS. His Omei material uses modular synthesizers, found sounds, and tape manipulation for slow-shifting textures, billed as dark industrial ambient. He released "Choke" (2002) and "Black Prayers Revisited" (2006). Live sets bring that low-lit sound into durational experimental bills.
