Clutch is an American hard rock band formed in Germantown, Maryland, in 1991. Their sound blends hard rock with elements of stoner rock, blues rock and funk, fronted by singer and guitarist Neil Fallon. The band broke through with ”Pure Rock Fury” (2001) and later ”Blast Tyrant” (2004), and has issued its records on its own Weathermaker Music label since 2008. Constant touring built their audience from the outset.
