Whitechapel is a deathcore band formed in 2006 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Three guitarists drive the sound, under Phil Bozeman's growled vocals and lyrics about religion, corruption and his own childhood. "Our Endless War" (2014) reached number ten on the Billboard 200, and "The Valley" (2019) and "Kin" (2021) brought in clean singing and melody. The band is counted among deathcore's big four.
