Vulfpeck is an American funk and soul band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2011. Their throwback sound channels classic 1960s and 1970s rhythm-section grooves through tight instrumental playing and sly humor. They self-released albums including "Thrill of the Arts" (2015) and made headlines with the silent Spotify experiment Sleepify (2014). Live shows lean on nimble musicianship and communal joy, including a sold-out Madison Square Garden concert released as a live album.
