Mel Brown B3 Organ Group

The Mel Brown B3 Organ Group is a Portland soul-jazz ensemble led by drummer Mel Brown around Hammond B-3 organ grooves. All four members are Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductees rooted in Northwest jazz, blues, and soul. Since 1997 they held Thursday nights at Jimmy Mak's for 20 years, and now continue at the Jack London Revue. Live sets trade blistering solos and improvised arrangements.
