Victor Goines Quartet in New Orleans

The Victor Goines Quartet is the working group of New Orleans-born saxophonist and clarinetist Victor Goines. Their sound draws on traditional jazz, swing, and Goines's catalog of more than 200 compositions. He has been a Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra member since 1993 and recorded "New Adventures" (2006). Club sets spotlight his clarinet and saxophone in intimate, swinging small-group jazz.
