The Takes are a folk-rock band from Portland, Oregon, built around guitarist and singer Sumner Rahr, guitarist Guido Rahr and bassist Phoebe Webb. Their songs mix folk songwriting with rock, country and blues edges and lyrics about nature, weather and drifting relationships. EPs include "Lay Hold" (2024) and "Uprooting Roses" (2026). Live, they play outdoor-minded sets suited to road trips and campfire singalongs.
