Black Country, New Road is an English band formed in Cambridge in 2018, part of the Windmill scene of British experimental rock. Their music blends post-punk and post-rock with klezmer, folk and progressive rock. The debut "For the First Time" (2021) was nominated for the Mercury Prize, and after singer Isaac Wood left in 2022 the members shared vocal duties on "Forever Howlong" (2025).
