The Queers are a punk rock band from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, formed in 1981 around frontman Joe Queer. Their pop punk is Ramones-derived, built on harmony vocals and guitar solos, with lyrics about relationships, substances and having a good time. After the debut "Grow Up" (1990) the band signed to Lookout! Records, releasing "Beat Off" (1994) and "Don't Back Down" (1996).
