The Dickies are an American punk rock band from the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, formed in 1977. They blend fast punk guitar with catchy melodies, harmony vocals, and camp humor from trashy movies and pop culture. Their 1979 debut "The Incredible Shrinking Dickies" made them the first California punk act signed to A&M Records. Live sets trade angst for goofy, speed-blurred pop-punk energy.
