The Outlaws are a Southern rock band formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1967, and the first act Clive Davis signed to Arista Records. Their sound pairs a triple-guitar attack with country-rock harmonies in the vein of the Byrds and the Eagles. The 1975 debut album featured "There Goes Another Love Song" and an extended instrumental guitar jam, and a 1980 cover became their biggest pop hit.
