The Ocean Blue is an American indie pop band formed in 1986 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Jangly dream-pop guitars carry David Schelzel's vocals on alternative hits such as "Between Something and Nothing" and "Sublime." A 1988 Sire deal produced their 1989 debut, "Cerulean" (1991) and "Beneath the Rhythm and Sound" (1993). They often play full early albums live.
