The Milk Carton Kids are an American folk duo from Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, formed in 2011 by singer-guitarists Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan. Their music is built on two acoustic guitars and close vocal harmonies, often compared to Simon and Garfunkel. The albums "The Ash & Clay" (2013) and "I Only See the Moon" (2023) were both nominated for the Grammy for Best Folk Album.
