The Fray
rockpop
The Fray is an American rock band formed in Denver, Colorado in 2002 around pianist Isaac Slade and guitarist Joe King. Their sound pairs piano-led melodies with earnest lyrics about love, faith and everyday struggle. The 2005 album "How to Save a Life" and its title hit made them a staple of 2000s alternative radio. Live sets lean on singalong ballads and mid-tempo anthems delivered with arena-ready dynamics.
