Dashboard Confessional is an American emo band from Boca Raton, Florida, formed in 1999 and led by singer Chris Carrabba. Its early records paired acoustic rock with soul-baring, introspective lyrics. "A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar" (2003) peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and "Vindicated" was featured in "Spider-Man 2" (2004). Concerts are known for crowds singing along, especially to the early songs.
