The Chee-Weez are a five-piece tribute and show band formed in 1997 in a garage just outside New Orleans, Louisiana. They began as a disco tribute act and around 1998 added classic rock and 1980s hair metal, later mixing in oldies, new wave, R&B and dance tunes. Their concerts feature a stage show with video walls, lights, lasers and pyro, built around audience participation.
