The Buckinghams are an American pop band from Chicago that formed in 1966 and became one of the top-selling acts of 1967. Their sound is rooted in Chicago pop with blue-eyed soul and psychedelic pop influences. They charted five U.S. top 40 hits in 1967, including the number-one single "Kind of a Drag." The band dissolved in 1970, re-formed in 1980, and continues touring with classic hits from their late-1960s run.
