The Barra MacNeils are a Canadian Celtic family group from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, formed in 1980 by siblings Sheumas, Kyle, Stewart and Lucy MacNeil. Their music spans Gaelic ballads, fiddle tunes, step dancing and folk-pop originals with close sibling harmonies. Ryan and Boyd MacNeil joined in 2005. Live shows weave storytelling, dance and multi-instrumental sets across the Celtic spectrum.
