Terry Bozzio

Terry Bozzio is an American drummer from San Francisco known for technical, melodic work across rock, jazz, and progressive music. He earned acclaim drumming for Frank Zappa from 1975 to 1978, inspiring compositions such as "The Black Page," and co-founded new wave band Missing Persons, whose "Spring Session M" (1982) went gold. Inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1997, he has also toured with Jeff Beck and Steve Vai. Live performances showcase his orchestral drum-set compositions and polyrhythmic virtuosity.
