SYML is the solo project of Seattle singer-songwriter Brian Fennell, Welsh for "simple." His intimate alternative songs pair sparse piano with themes of grief, loss, and sanctuary. Albums include SYML (2019), featuring the multi-platinum "Where's My Love," and The Day My Father Died (2023), produced by Phil Ek. Live performances channel that emotional bareness into cinematic, minimalist sets.
