Stewart Copeland

Stewart Copeland is an American musician and composer best known as the drummer and co-founder of the Police. His sharp, reggae-influenced drumming helped define the band's new wave sound on hits like "Message in a Bottle" and "Every Breath You Take." Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, he later scored films such as Francis Ford Coppola's "Rumble Fish" and composed for opera and orchestra. He also stages spoken-word evenings and orchestral reworkings of Police classics.
