Status/Non-Status is an alternative rock band from London, Ontario, led by Anishinaabe singer-songwriter Adam Sturgeon. Its music mixes folk rock, psychedelia, post-rock and grunge, exploring Indigenous identity, colonization and Sturgeon's family history. Founded in 2009 as WHOOP-Szo, the band's album "Warrior Down" (2019) was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, and it took its current name in 2021.
