Slavic Soul Party

Slavic Soul Party is an American Balkan brass and jazz band from New York City, often styled Slavic Soul Party! Its sound folds Balkan brass, Roma accordion, klezmer, funk, and New Orleans second-line into one brass blend. The album In Makedonija appeared in 2002 on Knitting Factory Records. Shows stack horns, tuba, and percussion for kinetic dance sets, including billings alongside rock acts such as Arcade Fire.
