SistaStrings

SistaStrings is the Milwaukee-born, Nashville-based sister duo of violinist Chauntee Ross and cellist Monique Ross. They blend classical strings with gospel, R&B, hip-hop, and Americana in shared vocals. The Americana Music Association named them Best Instrumentalist in 2023 after touring with Brandi Carlile and Allison Russell. Their shows move from classical pieces to pop mashups and original songs.
