Senri Oe Trio in New York

Senri Oe Trio is the New York jazz trio of pianist Senri Oe with bassist Matt Clohesy and drummer Ross Pederson. Oe left a multi-platinum J-pop career in Japan to study at the New School, debuting in jazz with "Boys Mature Slow" in 2012. Their music fuses digital and acoustic elements into edgy piano trio compositions that blur genre lines. Festival runs have included Atlanta and Detroit on albums such as "Class of '88" and "HOMEWORK".
