Pharmakon

Pharmakon is the noise and industrial project of Margaret Chardiet, a New York musician from Far Rockaway who has been active in the city's underground experimental scene since age 17. Her albums on Sacred Bones Records include "Abandon" (2013), "Bestial Burden" (2014), inspired by abdominal surgery, and "Maggot Mass" (2024). Her live sets aim to cross the boundary between performer and audience.
