Beherit

Beherit is a Finnish black metal band from Rovaniemi, formed in 1989 by Marko Laiho, known as Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance. They set out to play primitive, raw black metal with an avant-garde, atmospheric side, and are regarded as genre pioneers with a cult following. Their 1993 album "Drawing Down the Moon" is considered a classic, after which Laiho took the name into dark ambient electronic music.
