Midnight is a metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, founded in 2003 as a solo project by Jamie Walters under the name Athenar. The music mixes black metal, speed metal and punk, a style often called black n' roll. Albums include "Satanic Royalty" (2011) and "Rebirth by Blasphemy" (2019), the first on Metal Blade Records. Live, Athenar is joined by rotating musicians, all performing with their faces covered by hoods.
