Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers is an indie rock band from East Nashville, Tennessee, led by bassist Mel Bryant. Their songs mix punk, classic rock, and indie roots with lyrics on queerness and mental health over grungy guitar and booming bass. They record in a backyard barn studio and released "Every God Forsaken Morning" (2025) after their 2020 debut. Live shows push ferocious singalong energy.
