Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers w/ special guest Ash Tuesday

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers live at Eddie's Attic w/ special guest Ash Tuesday!

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers write songs for screaming from the passenger seat. An east coast born rock band combining modern punk, classic rock, and indie sad girl stylings, the Mercy Makers embody the spirit of DIY by recording in their backyard barn-turned-home studio in East Nashville, Tennessee. Grungy guitars and raucous drum beats are spearheaded by Bryant’s ferocious feminine energy through crass, cutting lyricism and her booming bass guitar. This eclectic and singular sound has been suffused with the storytelling of the place they now call home, tackling themes like queerness, mental illness and anti fascist-ness with a cheeky wit that leaves you wondering if you should be laughing or crying or screaming.

Their latest album, Every God Forsaken Morning, released in summer 2025 to critical acclaim and national radio airplay, beloved by their online and IRL fans on tour. Their live album just dropped on January 16th.

They are joined by Ash Tuesday.
