Los Lobos in Honolulu

Los Lobos is a Grammy-winning rock band from East Los Angeles, formed in 1973 and blending Mexican folk with punk, blues, and soul. Their sound fuses norteno, Tejano, rock, and soul, drawing on mariachi roots and the city's punk and college-rock scenes. How Will the Wolf Survive? earned critical acclaim in 1984, and their 1987 cover of La Bamba became a global chart-topper. Live shows range from acoustic folk sets to full-band rock spanning tributes and genre-bending originals.
