Leo Kottke is an American acoustic guitarist from Athens, Georgia, known for fingerstyle six- and twelve-string playing since the late 1960s. His picking blends blues, jazz, and folk into syncopated, polyphonic instrumentals. "6- and 12-String Guitar" (1969) on Takoma and "Mudlark" (1971) made his name; "Noon" (2020) reunited him with Mike Gordon. Solo shows feature virtuosic acoustic sets from his catalog.
