Keith Oxman in Denver

Keith Oxman is a Denver tenor saxophonist who has led groups on the local jazz scene for three decades. His hard-swinging post-bop centers on classic standards and deep engagement with John Coltrane's songbook. He toured with Buddy Rich's big band in 1986 and recorded "Two Cigarettes in the Dark" with Houston Person on Capri Records. Live quartet sets pair his horn with longtime collaborators, including tributes to Coltrane's repertoire.
