High Step Society is a seven-piece dance band based in Portland, Oregon and New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 2015. They fuse jazz horns and vocals with EDM beats, recasting Jazz Age swing for modern dance floors. A staple of the U.S. festival circuit, they have shared bills with Beats Antique, The Polish Ambassador, Zion I and Dirtwire. Their shows are built for movement, popular with dancers, burlesque and circus artists for sultry, high-energy sets.
