Geoffrey Keezer is a Grammy-winning jazz pianist and composer from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, based in New York City. His piano work spans post-bop improvisation, standards and original compositions shaped by a deep bandleader sensibility. He joined Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers in 1989 as the group's final pianist, and won a 2023 Grammy for his composition "Refuge" on the album "Playdate." On stage he leads trios and an intimate duo with vocalist Gillian Margot, blending technical brilliance with spontaneous songbook interpretations.
