Exhorder is a thrash and groove metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana, fronted by vocalist Kyle Thomas. The band is known for chugging, tightly constructed, syncopated guitar work and is considered a progenitor of the groove-oriented thrash later made famous by Pantera and Machine Head. Albums include "Slaughter in the Vatican" (1990), "The Law" (1992), "Mourn the Southern Skies" (2019) and "Defectum Omnium" (2024).
