DeepChord is Rod Modell's Detroit dub techno project, built on long, hypnotic loops that blend Basic Channel warmth with Detroit's mechanical soul. Tracks unfold slowly into patient, enveloping soundscapes. Modell began the project with Mike Schommer in the late 1990s and has recorded solo since 2002.
