Agora x ISC present: DeepChord (live) + Photay (live)

Agora Records and In Sheep's Clothing Hi-Fi present a night of live electronic music.

Detroit veteran Deepchord is known for his long, hypnotic loops - dub techno at its most patient and immersive. The sound draws equally on the sub-bass warmth of Berlin's Basic Channel lineage and the mechanical soul of Detroit techno, with tracks that unfold slowly into an enveloping soundscape to get lost in.

Photay is known for blending hand-played percussion with ambient compositions, producing a sound that is simultaneously electronic and organic. His work draws equally on rhythms shaped by his time studying traditional drumming in Guinea and a restless, detail-oriented approach to synthesis and field recording.

The night will open and close with all-vinyl sets from Agora DJs Luke and TreyB, carrying on for as long as there are dancers, and will feature live visuals by Wav Function.
