Death From Above 1979 is a Canadian dance-punk duo formed in Toronto in 2001 by bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer and singer Sebastien Grainger. The two-piece builds its noise rock from distorted bass riffs, frenetic rhythms and high tenor wails, without a guitarist. Albums include "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine" (2004), "The Physical World" (2014), "Outrage! Is Now" (2017) and "Is 4 Lovers" (2021).
