David Benoit

David Benoit is an American jazz pianist, composer, and producer born in Bakersfield, California, and based in Los Angeles. His contemporary jazz draws on Vince Guaraldi, whose Peanuts scores inspired his piano style. He has charted more than 25 albums since 1980 and earned three Grammy nominations, including for "Here's to You, Charlie Brown: 50 Great Years!" (2000). Holiday concerts pay tribute to A Charlie Brown Christmas with Guaraldi's classics and his own Peanuts compositions.
