Dave Simonett is a singer, guitarist and harmonica player best known as the frontman of Trampled by Turtles from Duluth, Minnesota. He formed the band in 2003 as a side project after his equipment was stolen and left him with only an acoustic guitar, which pushed him toward bluegrass and folk.
