C+C Music Factory is a dance-pop group from New York City, founded in 1989 by producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole. Their sound blends house, hip hop and new jack swing, heard on hits like "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" and "Things That Make You Go Hmmm...". The debut album "Gonna Make You Sweat" (1990) reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and the group has earned five American Music Awards.
