Born and Raised

Born and Raised is a John Mayer tribute band from Fairfield, Connecticut, the town where Mayer himself grew up. Frontman Billy Ruegger formed the project in 2018, debuting with a sold-out show at The Acoustic in Bridgeport, a venue Mayer played in his younger years. The band covers Mayer's catalog from his early acoustic pop and blues-heavy trio work to the Sob Rock era, often with local guest musicians.
