Billy Gibbons is an American rock musician from Houston, Texas, guitarist, singer, and main songwriter of ZZ Top. He plays blues rock and Southern rock through fuzz-toned riffs and gravelly vocals. After the Moving Sidewalks, he co-founded ZZ Top in 1969; solo albums include Perfectamundo (2015) and The Big Bad Blues (2018). Live sets feature extended blues-rock guitar workouts and the band's signature showmanship.
