Beth Hart is an American singer, songwriter and pianist from Los Angeles, working in blues, rock and soul. Her contralto is gritty and dynamic, and her songs draw on addiction, mental health, love and loss. She broke through with "L.A. Song (Out of This Town)" from "Screamin' for My Supper" (1999), and recorded four albums with Joe Bonamassa, among them "Don't Explain" (2011) and the Grammy-nominated "Seesaw" (2013).
