Benjamin Tod is an American singer-songwriter from Cottontown, Tennessee, now based in Kentucky. His acoustic songs draw on Appalachian folk and bluegrass, with lyrics about hardship and redemption. With Lost Dog Street Band he crowdfunded "Weight of a Trigger" (2019), which reached number five on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart. Shows are intimate, unplugged sets rooted in his freight-train busking past.
