Baroness

Baroness is an American metal band formed in Savannah, Georgia, in 2003 and led by singer, guitarist and album artist John Baizley. The band blends progressive, sludge and post-metal, and moved toward a more accessible alternative rock sound after its third album. Its color-themed albums run from "Red Album" (2007) and "Blue Record" (2009) to "Purple" (2015), whose "Shock Me" earned a Grammy nomination.
